WHY EUROMIND

The transportation industry is now an international business which requires great mobility from its engineers and close collaboration as a result of the many consortia and partnerships amongst European companies and research agencies.

With their many years of experience in teaching and research in all areas of transportation, all three Universities of the EUROMIND consortium are at the forefront of their engineering specialisations and offer courses suitable for the current and future needs of industry.

The EUROMIND project aims at reaching these goals by delivering:

A quality programme closely aligned with industrial requirements

- in-depth study of the latest technological aspects of an area of specialisation chosen by the student
- an insight in the three other areas of specialisation
-
a practical experience in the industry through a 6-month placement in a company

A European-oriented programme

- studies with other European/international students in group projects and case studies
- an academic experience in at least two different European countries
- an industrial placement in a European company (different from the student's country of origin if possible)
-
the interaction with academic staff from different European backgrounds

An innovative project

The EUROMIND project offers a unique integrated approach to transportation and to the concept of the European Engineer.

The innovative character of the project lies in the building of a common European culture among the young engineer community through multidimensional mobility: student mobility, academic staff, mobility and virtual mobility.
